Why Pink Buffalo
If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m a Buffalo girl, born and raised. Upon receiving my Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus in the Middle East and Africa, I spent a year volunteering as an AmeriCorps VISTA member at Bennett High School, one of the Buffalo Public Schools. Working at Bennett helped me realize that, before saving the world, perhaps we should start with our own backyard. I then went on to obtain my Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration, where I focused my studies on economic development. I’m a proud alumna of the University at Buffalo, State University of New York and a long-suffering/more-recently-optimistic Buffalo Bills fan. I owe much of my graduate school education and experiences to the Prentice Family Foundation, in which I was a three-time recipient of the Western New York Prosperity Fellowship.
You can take the girl out of Buffalo, but you can’t take Buffalo out of the girl. When the time is right, I hope to return to Western New York. My ultimate goal is to create jobs for the community that raised me.
Let’s Get to Know Each Other
“Counselor pattern embrace others with their warmth, empathy, and understanding. They are long term relationship builders. They are good listeners, and effective at problem solving. Counselors use an indirect approach when dealing with others.”
“ESFJs tend to be sociable and outgoing, understanding what others need and expressing appreciation for their contributions. They collect the necessary facts to help them make a decision and enjoy setting up effective procedures.”
“Accelerators enjoy identifying problems and eliminating them. The Accelerator’s approach is direct and straightforward: find a problem or opportunity and do something about it.”
Now that you know who I am, let's get to work!Take a look at how Pink Buffalo Consulting can work for you.
I love working with small businesses. The owners are passionate and care deeply about the stakeholders they serve. Don’t let the “business” side of things get in the way. Let me help you instead!
Someone wants to enter into an agreement with you. You should sign it, right? WRONG. You should have a licensed attorney review the agreement and make sure that the terms are comprehensive and reflect the content discussed. THEN you can sign it (and get a fully executed copy for your files, etc. etc.).
I enjoy editing documents to improve the quality of the writing, enhance the persuasiveness of the argument, and proofread for grammar and spelling. Whether the document in question is a personal statement or federal government contractor grant proposal, I ensure my edits reflect the voice of the author and the appropriate tone for the reader.
Let’s start with the disclaimer (remember, I’m a lawyer): I am NOT a certified financial planner. If you wanted to inquire about which stocks you should invest in, I would tell you to talk to someone that understands the market a lot better than I do. However, I can offer advice, resources, and help in making sense of your money around basic financial principles.
