Helping transform your ideas into reality.

Let my knowledge and expertise be the catalyst to your success.

About Rachel

Hi, I’m Rachel. My forte is in starting businesses…other people’s businesses.

I’m not particularly good at coming up with groundbreaking ideas (though the “Waterproof Notepad for the Shower” idea was pretty clever, until I looked it up and saw it already being sold on Amazon). But turning someone else’s ideas into a business? And helping businesses grow? Now we’re talking.

My skills are a complement, or a value-add, to the idea generator. I can help get ideas off the ground through the right structure, team, and partnerships. Or I can streamline operations to help businesses scale more effectively, saving you time and money.

Whether it be a startup, small business, large family-owned enterprise, or non-profit, I always welcome a challenge with the hopes of seeing my work bring success and satisfaction to the individuals and companies served. I take tremendous gratification in using my skills and expertise to enhance the capabilities of organizations. Above all, I believe that kindness and a can-do attitude are imperative to success for me and the clients I serve.

Why Pink Buffalo

If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m a Buffalo girl, born and raised. Upon receiving my Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus in the Middle East and Africa, I spent a year volunteering as an AmeriCorps VISTA member at Bennett High School, one of the Buffalo Public Schools. Working at Bennett helped me realize that, before saving the world, perhaps we should start with our own backyard. I then went on to obtain my Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration, where I focused my studies on economic development. I’m a proud alumna of the University at Buffalo, State University of New York and a long-suffering/more-recently-optimistic Buffalo Bills fan. I owe much of my graduate school education and experiences to the Prentice Family Foundation, in which I was a three-time recipient of the Western New York Prosperity Fellowship.

You can take the girl out of Buffalo, but you can’t take Buffalo out of the girl. When the time is right, I hope to return to Western New York. My ultimate goal is to create jobs for the community that raised me.

Take a look at how Pink Buffalo Consulting can work for you.

Business Operations

I love working with small businesses. The owners are passionate and care deeply about the stakeholders they serve. Don’t let the “business” side of things get in the way. Let me help you instead!

Contracts

Someone wants to enter into an agreement with you. You should sign it, right? WRONG. You should have a licensed attorney review the agreement and make sure that the terms are comprehensive and reflect the content discussed. THEN you can sign it (and get a fully executed copy for your files, etc. etc.).

Copy Editing

I enjoy editing documents to improve the quality of the writing, enhance the persuasiveness of the argument, and proofread for grammar and spelling. Whether the document in question is a personal statement or federal government contractor grant proposal, I ensure my edits reflect the voice of the author and the appropriate tone for the reader.

Personal Finance

Let’s start with the disclaimer (remember, I’m a lawyer): I am NOT a certified financial planner. If you wanted to inquire about which stocks you should invest in, I would tell you to talk to someone that understands the market a lot better than I do. However, I can offer advice, resources, and help in making sense of your money around basic financial principles.
